Jay Bunker, D.C. graduated from Life Chiropractic College West magna cum laude in 1992 and began practicing in Albany in February 1993. He also received his B.A. in psychology from Marietta College in 1975 and certification as a Hellerwork structural integration practitoner in 1983.
Dr. Bunker's mission is to promote healing by means of gentle treatment that releases tension stored in the nervous system. These gentle adjustments allow the body to heal itself much more effectively, thereby decreasing or eliminating symptoms and improving overall health.
"That the body is capable of healing itself is one of fundamental tenants of chiropractic, and reducing tension in the nervous system is central to that self-healing ability" states Dr. Bunker. "This tension, which accumulates from trauma, poor posture, and emotional or chemical stress, impairs the ability of the nervous system to transmit information accurately - much like a phone line with static - and that can lead to a host of problems. All my training and years of experience have honed my ability to find and gently correct those areas of nervous system interference which then opens the road to good health - naturally." |
